Solid Brass The auxiliary deadbolt is intended for use with a door that needs to be locked with a key. Deadbolts feature a rim cylinder with a tailpiece on the exterior and a turnpiece on the interior side of the door. Auxiliary deadbolts will function with a minimum 1-3/8 in. door thickness and a maximum thickness of 3 in. Available in 2-3? 8 in. or 2-3? 4 in. backsets. Please specify backset and door thickness at time of order. Suitable for most pre-existing bores for cylindrical locks.
